Prince Harry has only been in the US one day and he’s already bringing his unique brand of English charm to the good people of America.
Leaving his brother Prince William and pregnant Kate Middleton behind, Harry’s spent the first engagement on his official visit opening an exhibition in aid of his late mother‘s anti-landmine charity, The HALO Trust. And it seemed like most of the female population of the United States turned out to see the young prince, who said his mum would be “proud” to see him supporting the cause.
Harry delivered a rousing speech about his work with the charity, having found his way through a crowd of screaming ladies on Capitol Hill, Washington DC. Senator John McCain commented that “in all the years I‘ve been coming here I‘ve never seen such an unbalanced gender gap”. But Hazza hasn’t just been chirpsing any old Tom, Dick or Harry. Michelle Obama was first in the queue to get some one-on-one Harry time, debuting an all-new hairdo.
Well, who can blame her?
