Poor Peter Andre found himself in agony after making a simple beauty mistake ANY of us could make.

You know when you reach for the toothpaste, but accidentally pick up your tube of eczema cream instead?  Yep, well something similar happened to Peter, except on a much worse scale.

The dad-of-three has been left with some seriously poorly eyes after he mistook his wife’s eyelash serum for eye drops.

Ouch.

Pouring the chemical-loaded formula into his eyes by accident, Peter confessed he was soon hit with a burning sensation.

Sharing a shot of his badly bloodshot eyes on Instagram, the TV host wrote: ‘This is what happens when you think you’re using eye drops but you find out it’s you’re wife’s Eyelash growth serum…’

But whilst Peter’s fans soon flooded his feed with sympathetic messages, he soon revealed that his partner Emily Donagh had been less than sympathetic about his unusual injury.

When one fan suggested he asked his junior doctor wife for help, Peter replied: ‘Honestly? [It feels like] burning. Ems [sic] response?… “‘It won’t kill you, get over it’…”’.

LOL.

The star later followed up with another snap of his painful-looking peepers, writing on Instagram: ‘I really am a wally. Wifey looked after me. I guess I should check the label next time. proper burn.’
