The TOWIE lad has been sending subtle messages to his lady online...
They used to be one of our favourite couples from The Only Way Is Essex, but Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have been rocked by a sexting scandal that only seems to be getting worse.
Megan has since come forward with even more information about happened away from the public, admitting in a new interview that ‘there were 10 different girls’ involved in the messages that she found on Pete’s phone.
The 24-year-old confessed that she’d found ‘topless pictures’ (from an unknown girl that wasn’t Jacqui) among the texts, but had decided to forgive him and work on the relationship because he had told her that he’d made a ‘mistake’ and wouldn’t do it again.
But, in scenes that are due to air on tonight’s TOWIE, Megan found out that his behaviour had been made public. And it’s then that she claims to have discovered the explicit nature of the messages he had been sending to his ex, Jacqui Ryland.
She told The Sun, ‘I sat there and read it and broke down. I couldn’t even breathe. I had gone through it all on my own in private and then it happened again but worse.’
But, what’s Pete been doing while all of this has been coming out online?
The Essex lad has been pretty quiet on social media, not posting to Instagram for over a week. Although he hasn’t spoken out publicly himself, a source told Reveal that he’s ‘gutted’ and ’embarrassed’.
But there is one thing that seems pretty odd to us.

When Megan tweeted a shot of herself shopping this week, acknowledging that she had a ‘face of thunder’, Pete only went and liked her tweet.
Seems a little strange considering the current situation, no? Although, perhaps he’s trying to win her over?
This isn’t the first time that he’s hit that little heart button on Twitter, either.
Following Sunday night’s emotional episode of TOWIE, he took a liking to Megan’s tweet about reaching 350k views on Snapchat.
‘Pete the Pirate’ also happened to like a reflective tweet from Calum Best, which read: ‘A man that never made a mistake never made anything’.
Perhaps this could hint at how he’s feeling right now?
