Unlike when she gave birth to first son Astala, and the cutie’s every single move/outfit/facial expression was proudly documented on Peaches’ Twitter account, we’ve had to wait a whole month since she gave birth in April for photos of this little guy. But it was worth the wait – just look at him!
Introducing her new arrival to her followers with the caption “Lil bug eyes Phaedra Bloom”, the 24-year-old kicked off her online baby album with a close up of her newborn’s wide-eyed little face. And so it continued. Photos showing the tiny tot looking pensive in a baby blue romper and splashing in the bath were just some of the snaps featured in Geldof’s adorable mummy montage.
The meaning behind the one-month-old’s unusual name was revealed in a recent interview with Hello! magazine: “I love his name and think he sounds like a rock star”, Peaches told the publication. “We liked Phaedra because it features in a song both Tom and I love by Lee Hazlewood, called Some Velvet Morning.”
His birth was made even more special for the former socialite by falling on the same date as what would have been her late mother Paula Yates’ 54th birthday. “We… were given the date randomly by a consultant”, she added about the happy coincidence. “I was pretty amazed when I read it though, and had to smile. I couldn’t help feeling Mum must have had a hand in it.”
Too cute. Keep ’em coming, Peaches, we could look at these all day…
