Oscars 2013: Everything You Need To Know!

Last updated:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the red carpet at the Oscars 2013

The stars are currently gearing up for the 85th Academy Awards which will take place in Los Angeles this Sunday, 24th February. They'll be spending the weekend tanning, hitting the gym and putting the finishing touches to their show-stopping Oscars outfits, while the likes of Anne Hathaway and Bradley Cooper will be preparing their speeches, hoping to take home a shiny gold statue.

Last year, we saw Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie rock the red carpet – but it was Ange's right leg that made all the headlines, thrusting itself out of that black Versace gown into the flashbulbs.

Jennifer Lopez's accidental nip-slip on stage as she presented an award with Cameron Diaz also caught our attention, while at the after-parties everyone was talking about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's photo booth antics. We're hoping for some equally fun times this year – just please, ladies – no more black dresses.

You can watch the red carpet coverage live on Sky Living HD and Sky Movies HD from 11.30pm Sunday night and we'll have ALL the gorgeous pictures and news from the event from you on Monday morning.

Check out the nominees below and see who you think will be racking up the column inches with their amazing gowns and party antics... RM
