Oscars 2013: Adele WILL Perform At The Ceremony!

Adele has confirmed that she WILL perform at the Oscars 2013 next month.

The star has remained in LA following the Golden Globe Awards, confirming our suspicions that she’s been prepping for one mighty performance at the 85th Academy Awards on 24th February.

She said today: “It’s an honour to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again.

“It’s something I’ve never experienced and probably only ever will once!”

Adele will perform her James Bond hit Skyfall, for which she’s been nominated for Original Song. It will be her first EVERlive performance of the track.

The singer will also pay a special tribute to James Bond on the night, to mark the British spy’s 50th anniversary. (We’re secretly hoping for an epic James Bond soundtrack medley).

Adele’s already bagged herself a Golden Globe, which she dedicated to her three-month-old son. We’ve a feeling she’ll need to make some room on that mantelpiece…
