The One Direction boys are celebrating their record-breaking success today

One Direction have plenty to celebrate today - the Brit boyband have broken an AMAZING record with their second album - Take Me Home.

Not only has it smashed the US Billboard chart, but Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have become the first ever British band to have both their albums debut at the number one spot. It has sold a whopping 540,000 in ONE WEEK.

Go, Directioners!

And if that wasn't enough reason to celebrate, the album has reached the top spot in 32 other countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates AND Singapore. Phew!

It's been an amazing year for this fab fivesome, and we can't wait to see what they've got up their sleeves for 2013. Congrats, boys! RM
