One Direction To Release Blondie’s ‘One Way Or Another’ For Comic Relief

One Direction have revealed some amazing news about their 2013 plans, and it includes a charity single for Comic Relief!

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson announced today that they are re-recording Blondie’s classic 1978 single ‘One Way Or Another’ as the official Comic Relief track at the end of March.

Talking to NME about the track, Harry said: “We have grown up with Comic Relief and taken parts in lots of Red Nose Days at school so we were thrilled to be asked to this year’s Red Nose Day Single.

“It’s such an honour for us. We can’t wait to perform our version on this iconic pop song and raise as much money as possible for this incredibly important cause that is really close to our hearts.”

Bless!

The boys made history this year when their second album ‘Take Me Home’ went to number one, making them the first ever British band to reach the top spot with both their albums.

We’re already excited about the video. Roll on March! RM
