NTAs 2014: High-Street Frocks Rule The Red Carpet

The National Television Awards saw its fare share of designer frocks storming the red carpet at London’s O2 arena last night, but our eyes were firmly on Britain’s brilliant high-street offerings.

Leading the high-street glamour pack was Coronation Street‘s Georgia May Foote, who was rocking a stunning vintage-style cream embellished gown from Miss Selfridge.

A killer tailor-made frock from the brand’s upcoming spring eveningwear collection, Georgia’s Sophia Dress (£150) blew its designer competitors out of the water with its sexy back mesh panels and discreet chiffon fishtail. Love.

Landing in Miss Selfridge stores and online from March, we predict that this beaded beauty will be a sellout.

Also rocking high-street glam at last night’s star-studded TV event was Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly, who opted for a chic wide-leg jumpsuit and a gold-trimmed waist belt by Max Mara.

With a black blazer slung casually over her shoulders, Tess ticked all the right boxes with her elegantly understated ensemble.

Made In Chelsea‘s Cheska Hull looked hot in a floor-lengh pruple Ossie Clark London Monica dress (£79), while TOWIE‘s Jess Wright also ditched designer in favour of a pretty pale pink lace gown from her own brand, Lipstick Boutique.

Nice work, ladies!
