Millie Mackintosh suffered a Julia Roberts-style case of mistaken identity when she took her brand new super-sexy Russell and Bromley boots for their very first spin round swanky hotel Claridge’s.
The former Made In Chelsea star’s thigh-high lovelies left her red-faced when Millie suspected that her cabbie mistook her for an, er, ‘lady of the night’.
“Pretty sure my cab driver thinks I’m a hooker.. Wearing thigh high boots in the middle of the afternoon on the way to claridge’s.. Ooops”, the 24-year-old reality star tweeted en route to view Aspinal’s new SS14 collection with BFF Rosie Fortescue.
Teaming her foxy footwear with a gorgeously chic burgundy Comptoir Des Cotonniers skirt suit and a statement black fedora perched atop her new fringed ‘do, we reckon Mills looked a million dollars. Who says thigh-highs should be saved for after-dark, anyway?
Millie’s not the only one to turn ’90s film icon because her fashion-forward look, either – hubby Professor Green went on a Twitter rant last year when a Bang & Olufsen shop gave him scathing looks over his trendy tatts.
“Bang & Olufson Ealing shouldn’t be so dismissive of people with tattoos, not even a ‘hello’ or ‘is there anything I can help you with'”, he wrote.
“The g**p working in there won’t be getting commission off of me that’s for sure. I feel like I’m in Pretty Woman… I feel like Julia Roberts.”
Well, at least we know what these two watch when they’re at home in their onesies. Cute!
