So it looks like Mark Wright had an incredible time in South Africa.
The 29-year-old jetted to Cape Town earlier this month, where his wife Michelle Keegan is filming the second series of BBC Army drama Our Girl.
Before his trip, he’d excitedly captioned an Instagram shot of himself at the airport: ‘Im on my way…. How Iv been waiting for this moment !! South Africa let’s see what you have to offer !!
‘@michkeegan I’m coming for ya !! @british_airways the only way to travel !! [sic].’
And the pictures didn’t stop after he arrived. He shared photos of himself working out in the sun and enjoying cocktails by the sea. Very nice.
Happily for Mark, he had a few people to hang out with while Mich was working. His parents Mark Sr and Carol and Michelle’s younger brother Andrew had also flown to SA.
He wrote alongside a photo of himself and Andrew admiring some penguings: ‘Selfie with 3 beautiful penguins !! oh !! And the brother in law.’
And he gushed next to a photo of his parents: ‘My amazing mum and dad have joined us in Cape Town and are having so much fun !! 30 years and still going so strong #happy.’
Aw. But there was one person was noticeably absent from his snaps… Michelle.
Despite the fact that he’d headed to Cape Town in order to see the 28-year-old, we never caught a glimpse of her during his time abroad. And he hasn’t appeared on her page, either.

Mark’s now arrived back in Essex, telling fans yesterday: ‘Back home in bed after the most incredible, eye opening 10 days of my life. Cape Town !! What a gaff !!’
So as expected, Mich’s no-show has caused some speculation among followers.
Messages include: ‘No Piccys or any mention of @michkeegan ??? Very strange,’ and: ‘You look so lonely in your recent pictures [sic].’
Hmm. We’re pretty sure there’s a good reason reason for this. We mean, we imagine Michelle will be incredibly busy on set.
Perhaps she and Mark just didn’t want to spend their personal time together posing for selfies?
Whatever the case, we’re just glad you had a great time, Mark!
