Michelle Keegan has some VERY exciting news to announce.
It’s been confirmed that the ex-Coronation Street actress has signed up to appear in comedy show Drunk History. Ooh.
Drunk History sees comedians sink a few drinks as they retell a historical event in their own (rather tipsy) way.
Don’t worry! Michelle won’t be one of the ones stumbling about the place. Instead, she’s been cast as part of a group of stars who’ll recreate the tales.
She’ll join celebrities including Emma Bunton, Jack Whitehall, Olivia Colman and Geordie Shore‘s Vicky Pattison on the programme.
Comedy Central International’s Lourdes Diaz say ‘I am thrilled that we are working with Tiger Aspect again to bring back a second series of Drunk History in the UK.
‘There was a lot of love for the first series and I can’t wait to have viewers laughing out loud again with even more hilarious “historians” and of course, more drinking.’
Andy Brereton – head of comedy at producers Tiger Aspect – agrees: ‘Now that our livers have just about recovered, it’s time to go again, this time bigger and better.
‘With Comedy Central’s help we’re aiming to bring viewers some of the biggest comedy names in the UK.’
The news comes days after Michelle, 28, jetted off on a romantic holiday to Dubai with her husband Mark Wright.
Dubai is a very special place for the newlyweds. It’s where they first hooked up over New Year’s 2013 and where Mark, 28, proposed nine months later.

But it sounds as though she and Mark may now be separated for a while, with Michelle Tweeting yesterday: ‘I..HATE..PACKING!!! Whether it’s for a day or a month!!! Tedious job…’
Oh, Mich. We totally feel your pain.
