Michelle Keegan’s New Hair Gets A Big Response On Twitter

The Our Girl actress caused a stir with her appearance on BBC Breakfast after returning to her natural brunette status...

Michelle Keegan is back to brunette, people. And she used her appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning to show off her newly-dyed locks…

The former Corrie star took to the red sofa to chat about her lead role in upcoming drama, Our Girl. And of course, fans could not stop talking about her new hair.

After going peroxide blonde for her part in Tina & Bobby a few months ago, the 29-year-old has finally been able to dye her silky locks back to their natural colour. And her new look got quite the reaction on Twitter.

‘Yay @michkeegan is back to the dark side ?’, one fan gushed.

‘My girl crush @michkeegan on @BBCBreakfast ? Can’t wait for the new series of #OurGirl to start Wednesday ? #loveher’, tweeted another.

‘Prefer her brunette not that it’s any of my business ?’, wrote a third. We think she looks beautiful blonde or brunette (some women have all the luck, eh?!).

We think Michelle looks gorgeous with blonde *or* brown hair…

However, it wasn’t just Michelle’s new ‘do that people couldn’t stop talking about – some BBC Breakfast viewers also pulled her up on a comment she made about football.

As we know, Michelle’s been busy filming Tina & Bobby, a three-part drama about West Ham legend Bobby Moore and his relationship with his wife, Tina.

And whilst discussing her role with this host Louise Minchin, Michelle got onto the topic of football in the ’60s.

Michelle filming Bobby & Tina…

‘Back in the 60s people didn’t really know anything about football’, the actress said.

‘It wasn’t a major sport back then and Bobby and Tina were the first golden couple at the time.’

And football fans soon took to Twitter to acknowledge Mich’s mistake.

‘Michelle Keegan on @BBCBreakfast: “In the 60’s, they weren’t that bothered about football”. Odd…I seem to recall us winning a World Cup’, one viewer tweeted.

Oh, let’s not be pedantic now. We’re sure it was simply a slip of the tongue…

Either way, we can’t WAIT to see all this Michelle on our screens over the next few months!
