Jessie Ware has been nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize, alongside Plan B and Richard Hawley.
Lianne La Havas, Ben Howard, Maccabees, Alt-J, Field Music, Sam Lee, Roller Trio, Django Django, and Michael Kiwanuka make up the rest of the list, who are now competing for a £20,000 prize.
PJ Harvey took the prize last year for her album Let England Shake, which was her second time winning the award.
