Check out all the back stage action from our AW16 fashion shoot with Laura Jackson!

PRESENTER, fashion maven, radio DJ, cooking aficionado, one half of Jackson and Levine supper club brand, and did we mention, one of our cool new influencers here at Look HQ – Laura Jackson is one heck of a multi talented grafter.

Laura started out manning the front desk at London Fashion Week, then became a scout for the Clothes show Live before getting a break hosting music-flavoured brekkie show Freshly Squeezed with Nick Grimshaw and Rick Edwards for Channel 4. Most recently she’s been seen on our screen’s hosting one of our faves, ITV2’s Take Me Out; The Gossip alongside ex towie and Heart FM DJ Mark Wright.

Even more exciting and fresh off the press, Laura has gone back to where it all started and is presenting and hosting for London Fashion Weekend coming up (starting 22nd September running through to 25th September).

Normally photographed for her cool natural style of prim versus kooky, in ladylike lace tea dresses and pageboy blouses. Laura totally mixed it up and showed us how to rock this seasons must have fabric, our fave touchy feely stuff VELVET, starring in one of our main fashion shoot All The Feels. (Out today, 13th September)

Seen all over the catwalks from Prada to Fendi, it seems anything goes with velvet, wear it crushed, coloured or top-to-toe. Try a standout statement piece like an embroidered velvet jacket with matching trouser like Laura, or try gothic, grunge vibes by mashing up lace, ruffles and detailing. If you feel like it takes you back to when you were forced to wear it as a kid, then maybe play it safe and add a subtle hint with cool accessories, try a box bag, boots, choker or a skinny scarf.

One of the looks we are totally crushin’ on that Laura spins is the mustard 70’s jumpsuit from Zara, er Hell Yeah.

Is there anything this girlie cannot do, we think not ! You will be seeing a whole lot more of this super talented lady so we say watch this space.
