Some X Factor viewers thought they spotted a tender moment between the winner and his pal Freddy Parker on Sunday night...
After his X Factor win, Matt Terry is clearly ready for the inevitable influx of female attention.
The 23-year-old and his co-star Freddy Parker almost broke Twitter after his triumph on Sunday night, when Freddy appeared to congratulate him by ‘kissing’ him on stage.
But it’s clear that Matt is all about the ladies, telling the Daily Star: ‘As far as I’m concerned, I am a heterosexual man – but I will totally keep fans up to date with my personal life and who I am dating. They will be the first to know.
‘Fame is overwhelming but it is part of my job and I want to embrace it.’
Matt’s previously said that he sees Freddy as a ‘little brother’, confessing to The Sun during a Facebook Live yesterday: ‘I don’t know what this is about.
‘Freddy is my little brother, we hit it off straight away. Since day one, we are just bros man. We have such a bromance going – no relationship I’m afraid guys, I’m sorry to say. Sorry man.
‘No, I don’t think we kissed but he would have been lucky if I did.’

Whatever the case, Matt’s clearly not short of admirers right now.
On yesterday’s Good Morning Britain, host Piers Morgan asked him if he’s enjoying the attention from female fans.
Laughing, he replied: ‘Of course – it’s so much fun. It’s a lot of fun, it’s crazy.’
Enjoy it, Matt! And congratulations once again.
