Ever since Marco Pierre White Jr’s dramatic – and pretty awkward – exit from the Big Brother house, we’ve been left wondering what’s actually going on between him and his fiancée Kim Melville-Smith.
It seems as though he’s spilled the beans today, after making an appearance on This Morning.
The 21-year-old took to the sofa with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield and admitted the he had split from his former partner, claiming that there could have been a misunderstanding about the definition of what his ‘hall pass’ actually meant.
Big Brother audiences were left shocked by his behaviour with fellow housemate Laura Carter, so we can only imagine how hard it would have been for Kim to watch.
After tweeting that they were ‘NOT’ in an ‘open relationship’ during his time in the house, she made a bold statement by not turning up to support him on eviction night.
Now, since speaking to her post-exit, Marco says that he and 36-year-old Kim are going to see how things go, but are ‘just friends’.
Speaking out on ITV’s This Morning, Marco explained: ‘I think Kim’s a great person. I don’t regret what I did. I shouldn’t have done what I did.’
He continued, ‘I don’t regret anything to do with Laura. I feel guilty. I feel bad. I knew she was watching. In the Big Brother house, you do forget sometimes.’
When asked by Holly and Phil if he felt he might have got engaged too quickly, Marco admitted: ‘Yes I do [get engaged too fast]. I don’t know why I keep doing it.
