As we all saw on last night’s Made in Chelsea End of Season Party, Spencer Matthews has been a bad boy yet again, doing the dirty on new girlfriend Lucy Watson after just two months of dating (are we surprised? Nope) with a fling in Greece. And now, Spencer’s former flame Caggie Dunlop has spoken out about her filandering on/off ex, saying there’s no way he would ever do the same to her.
Admitting that Spenny personally called her up to break the news of his Zante-based infidelity (he and BFF Hugo Taylor were apparently enjoying a boys’ holiday when temptation fell into poor Spencer’s lap), 24-year-old Caggie told omg! Yahoo: “He called me yesterday and I pretended I didn’t know! I was like, ‘How’s everything with Lucy?’ and he was like, ‘Yeah, I cheated on her!’ I was surprised. I thought he was pretty into this one!”
Cags, who is now dating indie rocker Nicholas Routledge, added that she doesn’t think her former MIC co-star will ever change. “I think he just can’t help himself! He was like, ‘I wouldn’t do it to you’ and I was like, ‘You’ll never know because I will never go out with you!’ He can say he would never do that to me because I would never go out with him. We won’t be going out anytime soon.” Now there’s a lady with her head screwed on.
The naughty hotel heir has since spoken out about his slip-up, describing his holiday fling as “as meaningful as going to the bar and ordering another drink.” In a new interview with OK! magazine, Mr. Matthews revealed: “I went to Zante with Hugo and we went out one night, we’d had a lot to drink and a girl was pretty forward and she was preying on me and all over me. She told me she lived ten seconds away and I was weak and under the influence so it was very easy.”

“It was too early for a relationship”, the 24-year-old hotel heir added. “I did care about Lucy, she is a lovely girl and she doesn’t deserve to be hurt, but it was too soon after Louise to commit to one person.” Pfft. We could’ve told you that one, Spenny.
