Made In Chelsea series four begins on Monday (squeal!) which means it’s that time of year again – when we’ll be hitting SW3 to see if we can spot our favourite cast members.
We were lucky enough to have lunch with Oliver Proudlock, who told us where to shop on the high street, where to hang out – and what we can REALLY expect from a social life in Chelsea.
Proudlock, you always look great on Made In Chelsea – where do you shop?
I go to Wolf And Badger. They have really cool brands and it’s all really great quality. Selfridges, of course! I also love The Shop at Bluebird, Joseph, The Kooples, Ralph Lauren, Urban Outfitters, Zara, Harrods, Dover Street Market, Opening Ceremony, H&M and Diesel.
I live with Jamie Laing actually and he’s SUCH a shopaholic. Me, Jamie and Francis Boulle all live together – you’ll see some of that on the show. The three lost boys! To be honest I haven’t shopped in quite a long time because I used to work for Ralph Lauren and they used to pay me in clothes – so I’ve stocked up!
Tell us what you think of these stars’ style…
Kate Middleton… She’s got great style. She wears a lot of Beulah dresses – the designer is a good friend of mine. She always looks very immaculate, chic and elegant.
Cheryl Cole… Diverse. Occasionally not so great, but she’s got quite a cute look.
Jessie J… Sexy – and pulls off a jumpsuit!
Who do you think is the most stylish on Made In Chelsea?
Where do you guys go on a night out?
(Promise we won’t follow you)
I go to La Brasserie a lot. Whenever I go there I always feel like I’m in Paris. It’s one of my favourite restaurants. Brunch is really nice, or you can go for drinks in the evening. Try out the cocktails! My favourite dish is the grilled salmon on a bed of lentils. Also there’s a place called Megan’s which has a really nice outside area, great food and atmosphere. That’s the perfect date place.

I like to hang out at the Chelsea Arts club, which is a cool members’ club on Old Church Street. It’s like a country-style house. I really like warm and cosy places – I’d prefer to go there as opposed to a really swanky bar. I hang out in Soho, too. I really like Bodega Negra, which is a cool Mexican place. I love Burger & Lobster, Sushinho, Surprise, PJ’s Bar and Grill. Then in terms of drinks – The Dean Street Townhouse.
My favourite club right now is Box & Scotch. It used to be around in the seventies – the Rolling Stones used to go there.
Sounds awesome! So why IS Chelsea so cool? And why should LOOK readers go there? (Aside from the obvious – celeb spotting!)
I lived with my mum in the countryside until the age of 12 and then moved here with my dad. So for me, it’s the fact that I’ve been here for so long – I know so many people here and all the places to go. It has amazing restaurants, really cool bars, great shops (La Brasserie is right next to Chanel!). It’s just a really nice place. Oh, and it’s full of good-looking people. I almost forgot to mention that…
See you there! RM
LOOK readers can enjoy La Brasserie’s famous ‘Couture Cocktails’ from just £5.50 between 5-7pm – simply mention ‘LOOK magazine’ at the bar. You must be over 18.
