Lucy Mecklenburgh And Ryan Thomas Just Took A Big Step In Their Relationship

It looks like things could be getting pretty serious for these two...

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas really did find love in a hopeless place, when the pair met on Channel 4’s Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls where they were left to fend for themselves with nothing but their instincts and survival knowledge to help.

After quickly striking up a romance on the show, the pair have confirmed their relationship on social media by posting some seriously sweet snaps of one another at a friend’s wedding.

And now it looks like former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy and former Coronation Street actor Ryan have taken their relationship to the next level…

Taking to Instagram, both Lucy and Ryan shared snaps of their day out together, and it appears that Lucy has officially met Ryan’s daughter, Scarlett.

Judging from the social media posts, we can guess that 26-year-old Lucy and 33-year-old Ryan took eight-year-old Scarlett to see a showing of the classic Robin Williams film Mrs Doubtfire at the Backyard Cinema in London.

Whilst the actor wrote alongside the adorable snap of his little girl: ‘How did you spend your Sunday? #RobinWilliamsLegend,’ fitness guru Lucy shared a similar snap of the theatre and captioned it: ‘It has to be in my top 5! Robin Williams is just an absolute legend! What a talented man 💛 #mrsdoubtfire #backyardcinema #london #cinema [sic]’

But Lucy explained she’d rather keep the relationship as private as possible: ‘If it’s OK with you, I’d like to leave it at that,’ she told the publication.

Explaining why, she continued: ‘I was put on national television two weeks into being 19 years old. When I was hurt, it all played out on camera and it was really tough.’

‘I grew up and learned these horrible lessons that all girls and guys do – but on TV with millions of people judging,’ Lucy added. ‘Now, I want to keep more close to me. That’s how I want to do it.’

As long as these two are happy, we’re happy.
