One of our favourite star’s on this years Love Island HAS to be Zara Holland – we know her as the self-proclaimed ‘unlucky in love’ northerner who wore her heart on her sleeve.

But we also know that the 21-year-old former Miss GB has an absolutely amazing figure, which is why we were shocked to hear she’s been getting some cruel comments about her weight recently.

Whilst treating fans to some drop-dead gorgeous pictures of her and her friends partying in Marbella, Zara revealed that not everyone has been so positive about her holiday snaps.

Speaking to Reveal at the GAP Jeans for Genes Day event, Zara said: “I get mean comments every single day, and yes, I’ve put on a tiny bit of weight, but who hasn’t this summer? I’ve been on holiday!”

Besides the fact Ms Holland looks flawless in every single picture, unfortunately the horrible comments seem to be a trend this summer with stars such as Vogue Williams and Jess Wright also having to deal with internet bullies.

Unfortunately her weight isn’t the only negative comments Zara received and she went on: “People tell me to get my beauty mark removed, too but it’s staying! We’re just real people and we look like everyone else. I’ll never understand why people take the time out of their day to say things like that.”

We’re as confused as you are Zara.

On the way to @lasalabanus with the girls and my amazing family! Can't wait❤️ #marbella #fridays

Despite some negativity, the star’s fans have been on hand to shower her with support, with one writing: “Such an amazing woman@zaraholland I love everything about you !! Xx”

Whilst another added: “Look absolutely stunning hun x”

After fellow Love Island star Kady McDermott was also body-shamed recently for being bloated (yes this actually happened) Zara was quick to defend her pal, adding: “I just think that everyone is going to have something to say about how you look but you can’t take it to heart.”
