After Vicky hit back at fans accusing her of Photoshopping her photos, Olivia Buckland showed her support on social media...
Love Island favourite Olivia Buckland has proved that she’s all about that girl power by jumping to support fellow reality star, Vicky Pattison.
We don’t know about you but we’re pretty sick of all the body shaming. (Seriously, this needs to stop).
And it looks like former islander Olivia couldn’t agree more, after she took to Twitter to stick up for ex Geordie Shore star and pal, Vicky Pattison, who’s been facing cruel comments about her appearance AGAIN.
Twenty-eight year old Vicky was forced to speak out after social media trolls decided to criticise the star’s latest stunning selfie. With comments like: “Looks nothing like Vicky! Lay off the photoshop!”, Vicky took to Instagram to prove that she’s every inch a natural beauty.

Next to a series of snaps which revealed pretty much no more retouching than your average Snapchat filter, the star wrote: “Soooooo, here it is… After receiving numerous ‘that looks nothing like you’ moans or ‘so photoshopped’ whinges from you bored trolls out there myself and my gorgeous girl @thebeautybom have put together this for you….
“The image on the top left is the completely untouched, unedited and organic picture of me and as we go across in story board form you can see the MINOR changes she made to the pic culminated in the final and bottom right image that seemed to cause so many of you so much offence!! She’s sharpened a few bits and used a filter, yes I’m wearing makeup and tan but who doesn’t?!!”
Vicky went on: “Can we all just calm our passions, get off our high horses, chill out, stop being so hateful, negative or downright bitter and just see this for what it is?!!!!! A nice picture of me with some pretty chains round my neck?!! I personally could not get so fired up over a picture of someone but that may be because I have a happy busy life filled with friends, family, a fulfilling job, travel and ambitions… So maybe next time rather than criticise me, or @thebeautybom’s work you will take a second and think ‘am I really annoyed by this image or am I just dissatisfied with my own life?!’ I’d guess the answer is the second one…
Exactly right Vic.
Seeing the inspo message on Twitter, Olivia jumped in, replying to the star with the simple tweet: “Bitterness for no reason! Why do people think they know it all? Gorgeous from start to finish babe @VickyPattison”
Liv’s reply was then favourited 180 times, and fans were obviously in total agreement with the reality stars. One tweeted: “@VickyPattison Yes Yes vicky!!… well said *standing ovation* #BamBitchGoesDown”
With another adding: “@VickyPattison Well said, Vicky. By the way you look stunning.”
No stranger to body shaming herself, Olivia recently received similar Photoshop claims after showing off her frankly ah-MAZING body whilst holidaying in Marbella.
Sending out a tweet titled ‘LAST time I’m saying anything on the matter. #girlpower’, the former islander wrote: “I’m not posting this to try and justify anything, however I feel strongly about being honest and truthful with my fans and followers and hate to think you think I’m lying to you. I will take it as a compliment that people think I photoshop my waist.’
She continued: “Let’s remember TV adds a few pounds and appreciate I have lost weight since being out the villa.
“I also know how to take a god damn good photo and work my angles. Maybe I’ll do a tutorial on that next so you can all be accused of using photoshop too [crying emoji face],” she wrote.
It’s great to see these girl’s have each others back, especially when it comes to taking down the body shamers.
