Last night’s Love Island must have been a particularly hard one for Malin Andersson to watch.
The make-up artist saw ‘boyfriend’ Terry Walsh telling the lads that he ‘does not miss her’ shortly before appearing to end their relationship on television. We know.
After being voted out of the villa by the public a few days ago, she left her man behind to enjoy the experience with his pals. But it was very clear that the pair – who’d made it official whilst on the ITV2 show – were expecting to continue their romance outside of the villa.
Following her exit, the star told Radio Times: ‘I did not expect to meet Terry at all. I’ve won in that way… if he doesn’t bloody cheat on me. I’ve got two weeks to find out if I’ve won that…’
So when Tel confessed his attraction towards newcomer Emma (who just so happens to be Tom’s ex. Oh, the dramz), it must have come as a bit of a blow for Mal, who was watching from home.
It’s safe to say that Tom was reeling from the arrival of his former flame, and he took the guys aside to ask them who was interested.
Terry raised his hand, before saying: ‘She’s fit, she looks like my ex.’
Err. Aren’t you forgetting something, T?
Speaking in the beach hut, Terry explained himself a little more, ‘Maybe its because I’m having me time, I should be hurting for her being at home. When Malin was here it was one step forward and two steps back. I feel like when I met Ma, we had this amazing spark but she kept pushing me away.’

He later continued, ‘I’m not missing Malin at all and I’m not sure how the f*** its gonna work when we get out.’
And it appeared that he’d come to the conclusion that it was over, later having a heart-to-heart with Emma and telling her, ‘It feels nice to know another female fancies you especially when you fancy them… I’ve had a few days to analyse it and as much as (Malin’s) a nice girl.
‘It’s sad because she’s gonna have to find out by watching it but she kept chipping away. You are my type.’
Naturally, it didn’t take long for Malin to react on social media, tweeting: ‘And they say gold fish have short memories…’ followed by a heartbroken emoji.
She later followed it up with an Instagram post listing ‘rules of a relationship’, alongside the caption: ‘Didn’t even get past no.1…’
We’re sending ALL the hugs to the former islander right now…
