The X Factor 2015 winner Louisa Johnson is our new columnist and this week she's been hitting Ibiza and bulking up her make-up bag... Dive in!
Hope you’re all doing well and you’re excited to read my column. I’ve had a really busy week! After spending a lot of time in LA over the summer recording my new album, I got back last week and then nipped over to Ibiza for a short trip.
I had the best time with my boyfriend Daniel partying at the Ocean Beach Ibiza but I’m ready to get back to work now though, things are getting busy 😉
Obviously I’ve changed up my look a bit this week too: purple hair! I get bored so easily, I like to change things up all the time. It’s super simple to do at home: I used Bleach London Super Cool Colour in Violet Skies, £5. I’ve been using Effin Repair Boost, £10, to keep it smooth and healthy too.
Of course, I managed to catch up with the first episode of The X Factor this week too. It’s so weird that it’s back on TV now. I can’t believe how fast it’s all come around. I thought it was really cool and Nicole Scherzinger is so funny. She makes a great judge and she always looks amazing.
I could never imagine that my auditions from a year ago would mean I’m here now. I never would have imagined things to turn out like this, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. I can’t wait to see what happens this weekend.

This week I’ve also been updating my make-up bag again. I bought the MAC boldly bare lip liner, £13, to enhance the colour of my natural lip colour for everyday use and bought some new Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation, £33. It’s really dewy.
And I’ve been updating my wardrobe too – seriously, I have a problem! I picked up some brand new all-white Adidas Superstars, £69.99, Office – they are my go-to shoe and they go with everything. I love them!
Plus I got some new Topshop jeans, £38, I have so many pairs, but you can never have enough ripped denim.
Now, I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my family, the last few weeks have been crazy! Nothing beats a little bit of home time. 🙂
See you in a couple of weeks!
Louisa’s next column will be on Friday 16 September
