After Phillip Schofield suggested that Liz Hurley's son, Damien, might have had champagne edited out of his hand in a photo, the actress is forced to respond...

So the This Morning interview with Elizabeth Hurley was a teeny bit awkward earlier today.

Liz joined regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield to chat about the latest breast cancer campaign by Estee Lauder- but when conversation soon turned to her son, it all got a bit uncomfortable to watch.

You see, Phillip brought up a photo of her 14-year-old son which was posted on social media which at the time, caused a bit of controversy.

In the photo, Damien is seen posing next to his mum at a swanky looking garden party, except, it seemed that something had suspiciously been Photoshopped out of his hand…

‘We think he was holding a glass of bubbly and it was Photoshopped out. Is that true?’ Philip grilled.

Looking seriously uncomfortable, Liz attempted to brush of Phillip’s out-of-the-blue comment by saying: ‘Well I can’t see a thing from here, I am completely blind.’

Holly and Phil then went on to joke that they imagined it must have been champagne, before flashing up a second image showing Damien, again, in another image where it looked like a piece of bread had been Photoshopped on to cover something else he was holding.

When Liz couldn’t avoid answering the question any longer, the 51-year-old said by way of explanation: ‘I think he was handed a glass of champagne, he is not allowed to drink especially not if I’m watching.
