Twitter was awash with messages about the ladies' gig...
It’s safe to say that Little Mix totally smashed it at V Festival.
Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock took to the stage at the two-day event over the weekend – and pretty much everyone was talking about their performance.
In fact, the hashtag #LittleMixVFest became the #1 trending topic worldwide. Majorly impressive, right?
Tweets included: ‘Not sure I’ll ever get over how amazing Little Mix were at V Festival ❤️,’ and: ‘@LittleMix were so good at v festival last night !! Thank you for making it magical ✨.’
Of course, there were always going to be a few people with negative things to say.
Some accused the girls of miming, with one comment reading: ‘Looool… Why were Little Mix miming on stage at V festival ??.’
Another said: ‘Ngl, after seeing the highlights of V fest, I’d probably request a refund purely from Little Mix’s miming ? [sic].’
But after re-watching their show, we’re not so sure…
If the ladies noticed any of this criticism, they haven’t made any mention of it on their social media pages.
Instead, they’ve been gushing about the gig, with 23-year-old Perrie captioning an Instagram photo of herself belting a tune out: ‘V fest you flipping rocked ??.’
After Saturday’s show, they Tweeted: ‘The vibessss at @vfestival ?? You guys are amazing! ? ? ? Ready for more tonight? the girls x.’

It was actually an extra-special occasion for the band. On Friday, they celebrated five years since they formed on The X Factor.
If you cast your minds back to 2011, you’ll remember that they initially auditioned as soloists before being put together by the judges.
Posting an emotional video message to their page, they told followers: ‘Wow #5YearsOfLittleMix! ? You’ve given us the BEST 5 years of our lives! You’re the most amazing fans! ❤ the girls x.’
Aw. Congrats, guys!
