Did Little Mix Just Make A Huge Mistake On Instagram?

Fans couldn't help noticing something a *little* odd about their latest caption...

The Little Mix girls must be feeling pretty awkward right about now.

Why’s that? Because Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson appear to have made a huge slip-up on Instagram yesterday – and it didn’t go unnoticed.

As Mixers know, the girls are constantly posting snaps on their page. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen them celebrate Perrie’s 23rd birthday, wrap up their Get Weird tour and promote their collection with USA Pro.

But it was what they shared yesterday that really caught people’s attention. The ladies have just announced the release of their new perfume Wishmaker, and were seemingly thrilled when they spotted the fragrance’s poster on the side of a cab.

They uploaded a snap of the vehicle, captioning it: ‘So surreal…we’re on the side of a taxi ??? Who’s got their bottle of #LMWISHMAKER? Let us know what you think! Launch event tomorrow ☺️?.’

Seems nice and normal, right? But eagle-eyed fans noticed that this wasn’t actually the original caption. According to them, it initially had the words: ‘How’s this copy jade:’ at the start of the paragraph. Eep.

As one wrote: ‘Somebody forgot to edit the caption!’

Little Mix Instagram mistake

This was apparently how the caption initially looked…

So basically, it looks like someone from LM’s team wrote the message and sent it to Jade to check over before she uploaded it. Hmmm.

If so, they clearly realised their mistake pretty quickly. However, followers still seemed to find it hilarious. They’ve been jokily mocking the caption, with comments including: ‘How’s this copy jade,’ and: ‘How’s this Jade.’

Another added: ‘NO PUT IT BACK THAT WAS THE BEST THING THATS HAPPENED ALL SUMMER [sic].’

Lolz. Let’s just hope it was just a one-off, eh?
