Everyone’s Talking About Little Mix’s BRITs Performance

It’s safe to say that Little Mix made a pretty big impact at the Brit Awards last night.

Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall took to the stage at London’s O2 Arena to perform their #1 hit Black Magic.

Little Mix looked *incredible* on the red carpet

Judging by Twitter, people were seriously impressed. Comments included: ‘Little mix’s performance on the Brits was insane,’ and ‘Little Mix’s performance at the BRITS was actually incredible I love them.’

They looked smokin’ hawt in glittery green and black ensembles, and we were in LOVE with the emerald plaits Leigh-Anne, 24, was rocking in her hair.

But unfortunately for the girls, something a little upsetting happened to them ahead of the ceremony.

Photos began emerging online of them rehearsing their show, which revealed both their outfits and dance moves. Eek.

In a Tweet sent from their official account, they admitted: ‘Bit disappointed that photos were leaked from our #Brits dress-run today but we’re still excited to perform live for you all tonight! Xx.’

And that wasn’t the only unpleasant thing LM had to deal with.

While they were heaped with praise for their vocal skills in Black Magic‘s verses, some people seemed convinced that they were miming the chorus. Uh-oh.

One viewer wrote: ‘How obvious is it that little mix are miming the chorus [sic],’ while another said: ‘Little mix are blatantly miming and it’s so tragic.’

However, others stuck up for them, with a dedicated Mixer responding: ‘no they don’t mime! They actually can sing and dance.’

Jesy Nelson felt ‘like a princess’ in her Suzanne Neville dress

Hmmm. Now, we know the girls are talented singers (did you SEE them on The X Factor every week?!), so there’s no need for them to mime.

But TBH, that routine was pretty energetic. We’d definitely have been out of breath…

Either way, they killed it. Congrats, ladies!
