Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to spend 90 days in rehab for charges relating to a car crash in LA last summer.
The actress appeared at Los Angeles Superior Court with her lawyer Mark Heller yesterday, to determine whether she would be spared jail for lying to police about the incident, which occurred in June 2012.
The star’s sports car crashed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lindsay had pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanour charges – reckless driving, lying to police and obstructing officers from performing their duties.
Her rehab stint is part of a deal she accepted to avoid a trial. After arriving nearly an hour late for her hearing (oops), she was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab, complete 30 days of community service and attend 18 months of therapy sessions. She’s also had her probation extended by two years.
