Lily was reportedly carried out of London's Notting Hill Carnival 'unconscious', but has taken to Twitter to reassure fans that she's 'fine'...
Lily Allen has taken to Twitter to update fans after she was reportedly spotted collapsing at London’s Notting Hill Carnival.
According to a report by The Sun, the 31-year-old was seen being carried out of the festival unconscious after ‘collapsing’. But Lily herself has tweeted that she’s doing fine.
Responding to an email she received from the publication letting her know they were going to report on the story, Lily reassured fans by tweeting: ‘Truth is I’m just a lightweight, I had 2 cans of strongbow on an empty stomach. I’m here now and I’m absolutely fine.’
She then followed up by posting a photo of herself from Carnival throwing a peace sign and wrote casually: ‘Nothing to see here’.
The singer then retweeted tonnes of supportive tweets from her fans, with one reading: ‘Saluting @lilyallen this morning. Mothers keep partying + going to carnival’, and another reading: ‘Gwarn lily… Us mums can still do it ?.’
‘I’ve always liked @lilyallen and this makes me love her! If I was there I’d have got so drunk I’d have probably passed out too ?’, read another.
Another person then tweeted about her being spotted ‘swigging out of a JD bottle, to which Lily replied: ‘I believe that swig was the beginning of the end. ?’.
As long as Lily is happy and healthy, we’re good.
