Lauren Goodger was voted off Dancing On Ice last night in the second skate-off in the series. The star, who quit her stint on The Only Way Is Essex to appear on the show, lost out on a place to Anthea Turner.
The 25-year-old had received the fewest votes from the public following her first skate. She danced to ‘Rescue Me’ with her dance partner Michael Zenezini, but her ‘Save Me Skate’ wasn’t good enough for the judges, and all four decided to send her home.
Talking about Lauren’s debut on the ice rink, razor-tongued judge Jason Gardiner said: “The beginning had all the sensuality of a walrus on ice.” Ouchy.
Last night, Lauren tweeted: “Thank u guys!Ive had amazing time!I did my best I didn’t trip or fall or forget so Ive walked with a smile!Love u all!On to the next thing!x” (sic)
When asked by presenter Phillip Schofield if she’d continue skating, she replied: “I dunno about that.”
Onwards and upwards, Lauren… RM
