Kristen Stewart Signs Up To Study English At University?

Kristen Stewart might be swapping the casting couch for the classroom if the rumours that the Twilight actress has enrolled at America’s prestigious UCLA university are true.

According to The Mirror, 23-year-old K-Stew is has decided to earn her academic stripes by studying for a degree in English Literature at the University of California in LA alongside her Hollywood day job – well, it worked for Emma Watson!

K-Stew’s currently shooting new war movie Camp X-Ray in California and has been spotted undertaking in some pretty heavy duty physical training for the role, so attempting to beef up her brain at the same time is a pretty ambitious move – but it sounds like Kristen’s ready for a challenge.

“Yes, Kristen’s a Tinseltown actress worth millions but she is already considering a life after film”, a source spilled. “She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education. She is a voracious reader and cannot wait to get going on her correspondence course.

“It won’t be easy and it will mean putting in some fairly strenuous hours. But once she’s graduated, Kristen will be able to do almost anything she wants, in or out of Hollywood.” With her quippy, intelligent interview chat, love of a good fairytale (Snow White, obv) and ability to rock a good pair of specs, we always had K-Stew down for a bit of a bookworm.

Wonder if all this swatting is to prove to ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson that she’s got the brains to back the brawn?

Here’s hoping the Twilight trilogy isn’t on the curriculum…
