Kim Kardashian’s Social Media Return Might Not Be What It Seems

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has posted to her Facebook page, but fans are divided about what's going on...

Kim Kardashian West has been keeping up her silence following the traumatic robbery in Paris a few weeks ago.

The reality star has cancelled her public appearances, and even decided against her usual Halloween costume fun – for the first time in years.

But today she did something that many of her fans have been waiting desperately for. Yup, the 36-year-old finally made a return to one of her social media accounts, and actually posted something.

What’s more, it was a photograph of herself.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star can be seen relaxing on the set of a photoshoot, with her hair and make-up looking super glam (well, we’d expect no less).

Kim Kardashian is holding her phone, with her favourite brand of light-up cases clearly on display. The caption reads: ‘Downtime #LumeeCollab’.

Kim has barely been seen out since the robbery…

Kim’s fans were quick to react to the update, with many gushing about her big return.

But it’s very possible that this could be a scheduled Facebook post, or that it’s a photo from the archives, promoting some activity with the brand. After all, the KUWTK star has designed custom cases for Lumee before now.

Something that could support this theory is the fact that Kim Kardashian has a Blackberry phone on her lap in the photograph. You may remember that the E! star’s second phone famously died back in August.

Kim told her fans, through a series of tweets, at the time: ‘Sooo my blackberry bold died. I can’t find anymore on ebay. I knew this day would come & to be honest I’m prepared.

‘But the question is do I try a different kind of blackberry? Or ditch it all together? Or a different phone like Samsung?’

Hmm. Or perhaps she did manage to track down a replacement for her beloved Bold?

Either way, Kim’s fans were overjoyed to see some activity on her official page, with comments including: ‘So happyyyyyy right now!!! Kim is back and looking amazing’ and ‘I’ve missed you so much! I love you so much I’m so sorry that happened to you!’ [sic].

But others weren’t so sure it was actually her behind the status, with one commenting: ‘I’m pretty sure her assistant said that she will be taking over Kim’s social media for a while…’

Either way, we wish you the best, KK.
