Kim Kardashian West has been forced to apologise to disappointed fans, and Apple, after her emoji website crashed.
The reality star launched her brand new Kimoji keyboard yesterday, which features a collection of Kimisims ranging from beauty and fashion to many of her famous ‘break the internet’ moments.
It seems that the new download, which is available for £1.49, was in such high demand that it crashed, with many experiencing issues downloading the messaging additions, and others having trouble even getting them to work.
Kim took to Twitter to address the problem, ‘Ahhhhhhhh I still can’t believe we broke the entire App Store!!!! #KIMOJI’.
She then followed up, ‘I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!’
With such a giant social media following, we’re hardly surprised.
Addressing the technology giants directly, Kim tweeted: ‘Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!!!’
Fans were quick to complain to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star when they were struggling to get the app working.
The 35-year-old responded quickly, assuring, ‘We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!’
Despite the teething problems, the Kimoji app is currently ranked at number one in the app store charts.
One of these days a Kardashian will release something without the internet breaking.
