Katy Perry and Taylor Swift

Katy Perry Takes Her Revenge On Taylor Swift

It’s one of the biggest pop feuds ever and now it seems Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s rivalry is finally about to come to a head! Reports are coming in that Katy  is writing a revenge song aimed at Tay Tay, in response to Bad Blood. It’s said to be called Crocodile Tears and is all about being fake.

We bet Taylor really isn’t happy about that… especially when she hears who K-Pez has teamed up with for the track. The Firework hitmaker is said to have joined forced with DJ Diplo and has asked him to produce the song.

Yep, the same Diplo who Katy dated AND who slagged off Taylor very publicly on Twitter. In November last year the 36-year-old enraged Swifties by tweeting “someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty.” Ouch! And it wasn’t just Taylor’s fans who were annoyed, her bestie Lorde tweeted Diplo back, in the ultimate girl power move, “should we do something about your tiny penis while we’re at it?”

However, Diplo says of the feud afterwards that it was “the biggest mistake of his career” adding, “don’t ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift, she has about 50 million people that will die for her.”

Which leads us to wonder why, if the rumours are true, he’s decided to team up with ex Katy for this diss track. It could be that he’s just really mad at Taylor for Bad Blood and it’s very obvious swipes at Katy – after all, as much as we LOVE the song, we did think gathering a team of A-List mates to pretty much form an army for the video was a bit much.

Since the song and video were released Katy has remained pretty schtum on the matter, apart from wading into the Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj Twitter war earlier this year but did say “if somebody is trying to defame my character,” Katy said earlier this year. “You’re going to hear about it.”

We just hope when we do hear about it, it’s a pop smasher. After all, we’re not for fighting and bitchy swipes… but we are ALL for amazing tunes to hit the dance floor to.
