Kate Moss has done the unthinkable and finally joined the world of Instagram, despite being one of the most social media-shy celebs in showbiz. And she’s only managed to rack up a mere 25 followers!
But before you go excitedly Googling Mossy’s Insta-ID, prepare yourselves to be disappointed – the 39-year-old model mum reveals she won’t be sharing her username.
Speaking of her secret account on the social networking site, Kate told the new issue of Interview magazine. “I do Instagram but I’ve only got 25 followers.”
“I don’t really want anyone to know where I am”, she explained about her choice to share her snaps under a pseudonym. “I don’t want people to know what I’m doing. That’s the complete opposite of what I feel like.” Kind of defeats the whole purpose of the selfie-obsessed site, but we get her point.
The notoriously private Miss Moss has previously made no secret of her refusal to join the Twitter ranks, telling The Times last year: “I couldn’t think of anything worse than people knowing what I’m doing all the time. I just don’t understand it. I don’t get it all. Why would anybody want to know?”
Um, because having the chance to ogle your amazing holidays/handbags/BBQs at Naomi’s place is preetty much what we pay our BT Broadband bill for. So sue us.
