Kate Moss is given an Alexander McQueen makeover for SS14

Kate Moss’ Alexander McQueen Campaign Is Hauntingly Good

Kate Moss has just been unveiled as the brand new face of Alexander McQueen’s SS14 campaign, and with the announcement came these hauntingly beautiful new images showing Mossy like we’ve never seen her before.

Shot by photographer Steven Klein and on location in East London, the eerily dark pictures capture the iconic British supermodel as an otherworldly woman with a shock of bright yellow hair and all-over bronze.

Dressed in a striking leather ensemble designed by Sarah Burton, Kate is also accompanied by a (slightly creepy) miniature doll wearing a look-a-like outfit.

The 40-year-old style icon also stars in an accompanying film inspired by voyeuristic 1960s British thriller, Peeping Tom, in which Moss is seen being chased through a dark street before entering a desolute building and removing her clothes. Sinister stuff.

While this may be Kate’s first ever McQueen campaign, she’s been a long-time friend and personal muse of the brand’s late legendary designer for years – who could forget that epic Kate Moss hologram from McQueens 2006 catwalk show?
