Kate Middleton IS pregnant, it’s been confirmed today.
St James’s Palace have confirmed that she is nearly twelve weeks pregnant, and was admitted to King Edward VIII hospital this morning suffering from acute morning sickness.
There have been countless rumours about the Duchess Of Cambridge expecting a baby lately, which started back when she was on a Jubilee Tour with Prince William, and continued in some form until last week, when she was presented with a babygro by a well-wisher.
It was rumoured she and Prince William would announce that they were expecting their first child in December – and now she has! Here’s the official announcement:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.
“The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum [morning sickness]. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
The couple’s due date will be some time in June. We’ll bring you more news on the royal baby as soon as we have it.
