Kate Middleton: ‘I’m Hoping For A Boy’

Kate Middleton has let slip that she’s hoping for a baby boy, whilst Prince William would rather have a girl, during a visit to Mons Barracks in Aldershot yesterday.

The royal couple were chatting to soldiers after a St Patrick’s Day parade when Guardsman Lee Wheeler asked the five-month pregnant Duchess if she knew the sex of the baby yet.

“She said ‘not yet'”, the Guardsman told the Mirror. “She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl’.”

Ever the fashion recycler Kate Middleton wore the same green Emilia Wickstead coat she wore to the event last year as she presented shamrocks to members of the Irish Guards.

Guardsman Jason Perry also spoke to the Kate Middleton saying: “I wished her congratulations and said I hoped everything is fine. She said ‘yes it is’.

“I asked her if she was excited to be having her first child. She said ‘very’.”

It seems that even Kate Middleton and Prince William can’t agree on whether a little Prince or Princess is on the way – watch this space to find out who’s right in just a few months time! LO
