Karen Clifton Reacts To *Those* Rumours About Her And Will Young

Karen Clifton has reacted to rumours that her former dance partner Will Young quit Strictly Come Dancing because of her...

After yesterday’s shock claims that Will Young quit Strictly Come Dancing due to arguments with his dance partner, Karen Clifton has reacted.

The source, who spoke to The Mirror, said: ‘Karen was just doing her job, she was training him hard but in the end he just didn’t want to keep getting told off and corrected all the time’.

‘It infuriated him. They squabbled a few times during rehearsals and it left him feeling exhausted. He just found the whole process too taxing and didn’t think it was worth such a huge effort.’

And now, Karen has responded… By insisting she’s ‘staying positive’.

Choosing not to react directly to the claims about her and Will’s relationship, the dance pro instead took to Instagram to post a video of her gruelling workout.

But her caption was telling. ‘Back to the grind.. Pilates always does the job.. still learning ,still pushing , staying positive x’, she wrote.

And her fans were full of support with the Strictly star, with one replying with: ‘I’m glad you’re staying strong and positive, please remember that we love you so much, keep smiling? xx’.

At the time of Will’s departure, Karen sent out tweets saying she’d enjoyed working with him, and didn’t suggest that there was any hint of animosity between them.

‘I’m so sad that Will has decided to quit the show and I know it wasn’t an easy decision for him’, she wrote. ‘It was great dancing with him, he was such fun to work with and I wish him all the very best for the future.’

Will has yet to comment on the fresh allegations about why he decided to leave the show – as long as he’s happier out than in, we’re fully behind him.
