Justin Timberlake has just made our Thursday by announcing that he’ll be headlining this year’s iTunes Festival, which kicks off in London in September. Yay!
After performing a blinder at the BRITs in February, the 32-year-old singer will be bringing the full 20/20 Experience back to Blighty as he flies in for the free festival, which will take place throughout the month. Other acts tipped to be performing include Jessie J, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Jack Johnson.
And it seems the Mirrors singer just can’t get enough of us Brits at the moment. Last week, it was revealed that he’s snapped up X Factor winner James Arthur and The Voice judge Jessie J to support him on the Ireland leg of his tour this July.
An excited Arthur tweeted: “Ladies and gents I am happy to announce I will be supporting the legend that is @jtimberlake 10th July at Phoenix Park #LOVE”, while Jessie posted in response to the news: “Ohhh weeee this summer is looking delicious!”
JT will release his new album in the same month as the festival, before taking off on a world tour. So after seven years away from the music scene, it looks like the Trousersnake is well and truly back. Don’t ever leave us for that long again, Timbers.
