The actor praises his wife for the way she handles herself, and says she's 'lived through a lot of bulls***'...
Jennifer Aniston may have been plunged into the spotlight since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split – but she isn’t letting anything get to her.
It was last month that Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Jen’s ex-husband Brad, 52, citing irreconcilable differences.
Despite the fact that Jen and Brad ended things YEARS ago, hundreds of Friends memes immediately began popping up on social media. *Sigh*.
Jennifer hasn’t spoken out about the break-up (because, why would she?), although her BFF Courteney Cox has said: ‘It’s not about [Jennifer].
‘I feel like we’re exacerbating it by even talking about it.’
Now Jen’s husband Justin Theroux has opened up about how she deals with such speculation, telling The Sunday Times Magazine: ‘[Jennifer] is a proper badass. She has lived through a lot of bulls***.
‘Many people would have crumbled under some of the stresses that have been put on her. I’m very proud of her for that, for the way she handles herself.
‘There are times when I don’t like walking past the newsstand in the US. You start to feel like the crazy person they’re portraying you as if you follow that s***.’
Unfortunately for Jennifer, it isn’t just talk of Brangelina’s separation that she’s had to deal with recently.
Back in July, the actress penned a powerful essay about rumours she and Justin were expecting a baby.

In it, she wrote: ‘The objectification and scrutiny we put women through is absurd and disturbing.’
But while Justin’s admitted that these pressures can be difficult, he’s said: ‘Well, you feel protective, of course. She’s similar to me – she doesn’t pay attention to it unless she has to.’
And that, Jen, is why we love you.
