Did the actor just throw some SERIOUS shade at Brad Pitt...?
Hold up. Did Justin Theroux just make a particularly nasty statement about Jennifer Aniston’s former husband Brad Pitt?
That’s what his fans seem to be suggesting, after they noticed a particularly unfortunate message hiding in the background of one of Justin’s Instagram photographs.
The 45-year-old posted a snap of a graffiti design, by street artist Nick Flatt, in an attempt to share his true feelings surrounding the upcoming US presidential election.
The artwork in question shows a woman biting down on her middle finger, with a series of angry words, such as ‘f*** war’ and ‘f*** racism’, on the wall behind her.
The actor uploaded the image to his official Instagram account, along with the caption: ‘#currentelectionmood #berlin #graffiti #f***ingnickflatt’.
Of course, it didn’t take long for many of his 300,000 followers to notice that, amongst the expletive words, there was a slogan that read: ‘F*** Brad Pitt’.
Wading into the comments box, reactions included: ‘”F*** BRAD PITT” OMG IM DYING’ [sic], and ‘Shade thrown!’
It appears that a lot of these comments have now been deleted, but some still remain, including one follower that’s written simply: ‘F*** brad pitt?’
Now, it’s very likely that Justin didn’t notice this element of the painting, particularly as he pointed out that he was posting it for political reasons.
The Girl On The Train star has previously spoken out on the issue of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce, rising above any potential drama and sharing some supportive words for the famous family.

Speaking to Business Insider at an event for the film, he expressed his sympathy at the news: ‘As a child of divorce all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children and that’s all you can really say.’
He continued: ‘It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time, that’s horrible.’
We’re sure that it’s all one very unfortunate coincidence.
