Justin Bieber was accused of lip syncing during his performance…

But once the 22-year-old hit the stage for the first Saturday show, the audience were less than enamoured with his attitude.

After complaining he was ‘hungover’, Bieber was then caught up in a furious lip syncing scandal.

‘I’m a little hungover, I’m not gonna lie,’ he told the crowd. ‘I don’t there a more real place in the world than the UK. You guys don’t like to fake anything, which I can respect.’

The pop star then appeared to mime his way through most of his tracks, and audience members took to Twitter to express their frustration.

‘Nah @justinbieber is miming at V Fest. I ain’t paid £80 for a ticket to his tour to listen to his CD and see him run around the stage’, one fan blasted.

‘Justin Bieber miming as headline act of V Festival #notimpressed’, tweeted another.

Justin’s performance followed a pretty tough week for the star, after he quit Instagram and had a very public fall out with his ex, Selena Gomez.

And some V Festival fans took this into account when judging his performance.

‘I’m here just to listen and appreciate. He’s so talented. We all know he can sing so even if he’s miming so what. Just shut up and enjoy it’, one crowd-goer told the BBC.

‘To be honest I’m surprised he’s even here after everything he’s been through.’
