Piers Morgan made his interview with I'm A Celeb's Joel Dommett pretty awkward. But the comedian had the best comeback...
Yup. We’re currently obsessed with Joel Dommett.
Having watched him – and his hilarious banter – on our screens for weeks, whilst appearing on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – we have a feeling that he’s about to rocket to the top of our list of fave comedians.
It seems that the nation is in agreement, voting for the 30-year-old to take the second place spot on this year’s ITV jungle series. But during one of his first televised interviews following the final, someone dared to insult him.
How. Dare. They.
That person was Piers Morgan – yes, he never does shy away from a little controversy, does he?
Appearing on Good Morning Britain via a video link, Joel was opening up about his experiences on the show. Now, if you watched the final, you’ll already know that he was CHUFFED with his runner-up status.
But that didn’t stop Piers from branding him a ‘loser’, with the host telling him: ‘You’re still a loser, unfortunately.
‘We don’t, on this show, salute people that lose. We say good effort, sorry you lost, but good luck cause your career’s gonna go from strength to strength.’
Proving that his banter skills are ON POINT, Joel gave the sassiest response possible.
He told the GMB presenter, ‘It’s okay. I prefer Jeremy Clarkson, too.’
In case you’re not aware, there’s something of a rivalry between the former Top Gear presenter and Piers. So that’s got to have hurt a little.

He seemed to see the funny side, teasing, ‘Get him off! Chuck him in that pool!’
