Jesy Nelson reportedly grew tired of Jake's lack of enthusiasm for their wedding, and after a string of explosive rows, has called the whole thing off...
We’ve got seriously sad news about Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson and her fiance Jake Roche.
Concern for Jesy started spreading yesterday when fans noticed that she’d suddenly unfollowed Jake on Instagram, as well as deleting pictures of them together.
And after the Little Mix singer was spotted on a girls’ night out last night without her engagement ring, we knew things were bad.
Now, LOOK can exclusively reveal that yes, Jesy’s called off the wedding (by TEXT) after a string of ‘explosive rows’.
‘Jesy has gone through an intense amount of soul searching and emotional strain as the wedding plans became more intense – and she just couldn’t go through with it’, our source reveals.
‘As the wedding got closer she found herself asking if her and Jake were really as deeply in love as they wanted to think.
‘She texted him and said she doesn’t feel she can go on and needs a break to really work out what she wants in life.’
‘She’s been really worried that she was going to start living out her worst nightmare – having a ‘showmance’ marriage where it was more about the careers and the attention than actually really building a life and strong marriage together’, it added.
According to our insider, Jesy grew tired of Jake’s lack of interest in their wedding, and his lack of desire to settle down and start a family.

‘She’s desperate to have kids’, our source adds. ‘She wanted to see him taking more interest in the wedding plans, in working out when they were going to try for a baby and basically see him settle down more – and it simply didn’t happen.’
‘Jesy isn’t prepared to wait. She’s seen how Perrie was kept constantly dangling by Zayn and she doesn’t want that to happen to her.’
And as always, her Little Mix BFFs have been nothing but supportive, with Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock rallying round to help their pal.
‘She talked to all the other girls and told them the wedding wasn’t happening and that all their plans for being her bridesmaids would have to be be cancelled. She was in tears about it.
‘But all the girls just want Jesy to do what’s right for her and they are there for her 100 per cent.’
Sending all our love to you, Jesy.
