Jay Z’s Lemonade Reaction Song Is *Very* Revealing

After a few weeks break from all that Lemonade drama, things are about to get heated again, as Jay Z has responded to his wife’s lyrics with a brand new song of his own.

The rapper released a new remix of Fat Joe’s hit ‘All The Way Up’, and dropped a few references to his and Beyonce’s ‘martial issues’.

Beyonce originally ignited the rumours when she released Lemonade, an album that focuses on infidelity and a subsequent reconciliation.

Though she never confirmed that the album was about her marriage, the lyrics are pretty telling…

‘He only want me when I’m not there/He better call Becky with the good hair’, she sings.

‘If you try this s**t again/You gon’ lose your wife.’

YIKES.

So, what’s Jay Z said in return? Well, whilst he hasn’t specifically rapped about their marriage, he has used his new song to address Lemonade’s success.

‘You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions/Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is survival of the littest’, he raps.

Hmm. Cryptic.

According to Page Six, the couple have just finished work on a joint album, which is said to reveal a lot more about the state of their marriage…

Despite the drama though, the couple have been seen looking loved up at dinner this week, and Beyonce recently dedicated her song ‘Halo’ to her “beautiful husband” at one of her concerts.

Sounds like the power couple are still going strong, then.
