While we’re absolutely LIVING for everything that’s been going down on the show – the significant other of one contestant has brought attention to himself for perhaps the wrong reasons…

Strictly Come Dancing’s James Jordan has taken to Periscope, speaking out on a live broadcast about his wife Ola Jordan.

Discussing her being in the competition, he admitted that he isn’t worried about her surviving in the wilderness, telling his followers,  ‘She’s scared of everything, more so water as she can’t swim at all’.

Eep.  We’re not quite sure it’s looking good for poor Ola.

Bless her….. but she smashed it!! #olajordan #imaceleb #teamola

Saying that, so far Ola seems to be shaping up to be one of the bravest in the bunch. She faced the plank challenge, which involved walking out on a tiny plank over a 10 storey high skyscraper, pretty much unphased.

Her passionate husband also spoke of Ola’s fiesty personality, saying ‘If you push her and push her, when she goes she’s a real firecracker.’

‘But generally she’s easy to get on with.

‘She deserves a trophy for putting up with me’, he added.

In his broadcast, James also revealed his possessive side and made it clear he won’t tolerate anyone flirting with Ola.

He admitted, ‘It’s to be expected. She’s a gorgeous girl and if they hit on her, they hit on her.

‘Maybe I’ll smash their face in when they get out.’

Errrrr. We’re not really sure that’s appropriate, James.

The ex-Strictly dancer isn’t afraid to get vocal on social media, going on a rant slating Strictly pro dancer Anastacia’s performances on the show earlier this year.

Well, we can’t wait to see what Ola will get up to next in the jungle.
