Jahméne Douglas rose to fame in the 2012 series of The X Factor, where he finished as a runner-up to winner James Arthur.
The singer wowed audiences, and his mentor Nicole Scherzinger, with his soulful vocals, and landed a record deal with Sony music shortly after the ninth series of the ITV talent show came to a close.
The 26-year-old has continued to amass a following on social media ever since, and shares his passion and new music with his fans.
Now Jahméne has taken to Instagram to showcase his latest transformation, which has seen him reach for the bleach and dye his brown locks to blonde.
In the photographs that have been shared across social media, the singer also seems to be sporting lightened eyebrows and blue contact lenses.
Jahméne has hinted that there is a bigger meaning behind his image and the photo shoot. He captioned one picture: ‘Question: Is it right to have an exclusive ‘blue-eyed soul’ genre?

In a follow-up image the singer adds: ‘If only my brown eyes were blue… Would the radio support me like they’re supposed to?’
His fans didn’t waste any time in commenting on his new look, with reactions including: ‘I didn’t recognize you, when I first saw this pic. Love you to bits xx’, ‘Your hair ! 💙😍’ and ‘You look so different very cute’.
