This Is What Really Happened During Honey G’s Stage Invasion

Group Troll Station have revealed that they were the ones to interrupt the rapper's performance on Saturday night...

Honey G had a pretty dramatic weekend on The X Factor.

The 35-year-old was voted off the show last night, despite her mentor Sharon Osbourne begging the panel to save her.

She was up against boy band 5 After Midnight, and as Simon Cowell cast the deciding vote, he said: ‘I have to do what I think the public would expect me to do in this position, and I also think one of the acts has gone as far as they can go now.’

Unfortunately for Honey, he was referring to her.

Honey didn’t exactly have the easiest time during her performance on Saturday.

Pranksters invaded the stage as she showed off her rapping skills, who have now unveiled themselves as group Troll Station.

They’ve revealed exactly how they managed to get away with the stunt, which saw several people lunge at Honey and try to remove her cap and glasses.

Viewers saw a ‘security guard’ pushing member Daniel Jarvis on to the stage, which led some to believe that the whole thing was staged by The X Factor producers.

But a new video shows Trolls Station’s James Slattery getting changed into a police vest in order to disguise himself as a member of the show’s security team.

During the incident, the camera focused on a concerned-looking Nicole Scherzinger while Louis Walsh and Sharon tried to distract viewers.

After Troll Station’s attempt to unmask Honey G failed, the camera returned to the stage and Simon told her: ‘I’m so sorry about that. At one point I thought it was part of the act.’

Host Dermot O’Leary added: ‘We had a stage invasion, three punks thought they could come on and take on Honey G. Nah, I don’t think so.’

Sending you lots of love, lady.
